CJAF & JACL Scholarships
Each year, both JACL Cleveland, and the Cleveland Japanese American Foundation award scholarships for college to deserving graduating high school seniors of Japanese descent. In 2024, the Cleveland Japanese American Foundation awarded one scholarship. Amounts may vary each year.
These scholarships are “no strings attached” in that the money can be used in any way to help with the many expenses of college.
The Cleveland Japanese American Foundation awarded a scholarship at the Community Picnic on Sunday August 4, 2024 at Furnace Run Shelter Akron MetroParks in Richfield Ohio. We honor all high school graduates of Japanese descent.

The committee will not consider incomplete applications. Referral letters can be sent directly from your counselor or advisor to Bill Sadataki at sadataki@aol.com or the mailing address below. Transcripts can also be sent directly via email but must be received by May 1, 2025.
