Scholarship Grants

Each year, both JACL Cleveland, and the Cleveland Japanese American Foundation award scholarships for college to deserving graduating high school seniors of Japanese descent. In 2025, the Cleveland Japanese American Foundation awarded one scholarship. Amounts may vary each year.

These scholarships are “no strings attached” in that the money can be used in any way to help with the many expenses of college.

The Cleveland Japanese American Foundation awarded a scholarship at the Community Picnic on Sunday August 3, 2025 at Furnace Run Shelter Akron MetroParks in Richfield Ohio. We honor all high school graduates of Japanese descent.
